Pink architecture is a joy to paint, a balance of ostentatious color and well-grounded structure. This small watercolor is a study of a house in San Francisco that I have passed by many days of my life, and looking at this painting now takes me back to that very sunny day while I was parked across the street. Also note the Snoopy-esque lions out front!
