Each trip to Taipei has me seeing the city with fresh eyes: the tablescape tossed into place before taro bí-hún soup is served, the watermelon slice with the clever knife-fork, a simple roasted fish that has increasingly become one of my favorite things to paint! These panels were drawn on location, painted with a watercolor palette that balances jewel-tone hues with earthy shades.
